Dear Maggie, You are correct. When we first wrote Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots Mrs. Jeepers actually DID turn into a vampire monster at the end of the story. Our editor was concerned that it was too scary for kids in elementary school. What do you think? When we were working on the graphic novel version we toyed with the idea of going back to the orginial ending. Maybe they will in the live-action TV series. Who knows? A Whale of a Tale Dear Jaylynn, I like dolphins because they are so playful. I actually got to swim with one once. I like sea horses because they look so much like little horses and I always wanted a horse. Whales are pretty cool too. I learned a lot about whales when I was writing A Whale of a Tale. I like to sing too! Have you tried singing the Mermaid Tales song?

Dear Miriam, Congratulations on your new baby brother! He is brand new, so people are bound to be curious about him. Pearl had the same problem in The Winter Princess.
Jenazabethana, I'm surprised that your brother let you watch the Titanic movie. It has some very sad and disturbing parts to it. People are fascinated by the big ship and I am no different. My newest book, that just came out this week, is about a trip to the Titanic! It's called A Titanic Friendship. A new mergirl comes to Trident City who just might ruin the ocean trip that Echo has dreamed about her whole life! I hope you'll enjoy my story as I hope it is not sad or disturbing!
