Hi Layla, you are so right about the pattern.  Mermaid TalesTwist and Shout #13 The Crook and the Crown will have Shelly on the cover.  Number 14 will have Echo, number 15 will have Kiki, and number 16 will have Pearl.  Those are the books I have written so far, but I hope to write more!

Hi Ally!!  Riley, so glad you like my stories.  It is fun writing Frankenstein Doesn't Start Food Fightswith a partner, but I like writing on my own as well.  When I write with a partner we often take turns, kind of like playing hot potato-we toss the story back and forth.  Lots of things have inspired me from things I did when I was a kid to things my students did to things my own kids have done.
Suzy, I like funny stories too.  I really liked second grade and loved my teacher.  I hope you'll love second grade too.  Guess what?  When I was little my dad used to call me Suzy-Q.  Leah, I don't think I've ever written about first grade, but it sounds fun.  Ruthie, a book called Eggsheads sounds funny!
Aliens Don't Carve Jack-o-lanterns     Kayla, I have written 162 books.  You can see them all by clicking here.  If you click on the series name you can see all the books in that series.  I just said a prayer that all goes well with your surgery.
Noah, there may be more Bailey School Kids books-you never know!  Have you seen the Super Specials and the Bailey City Monsters too?  The Bailey School Kids Junior books are the newest ones.  Hope you'll like them.  Have a wonderful week, Debbie

Hi Aiyana and Kate, great to hear from you guys again!  Hope you'll enjoy my Kid's Club, there are some games there you Stage Frightmight want to try.  Aiyana, Marcia and I were both teachers in an old school.  Perhaps that helped us to think of a haunted school for Ghostville Elementary.  Is your school old?  We often use character sketches to help us come up with our characters-what they like and don't like.  If you write a story you might like to try doing a character sketch before you start writing.   If your parents are on Facebook, have them stop by later today for a chance to win a new book. Have a fabulous Wednesday! Your friend, Debbie
