Hi Melissa, I love dolphins too. I'd like to write a book that focuses on dolphins, but The Lost Princess has a bit about dolphins in it. Valerie, ask your parents to help you check out how to make a mermaid tail online. There are tons of videos about them. I even made one for my daughter, but there are simple ways by just taking an old pair of pants and covering them with colored duct tape. Have a nice Sunday. I'm off to church, Debbie

Hey Katelin, so glad to hear school is going well. I've been busy with the release of The Secret Sea Horse. I'm a lot like Echo in this story because I always wanted a horse (still do) and am not a very good speller (Echo misses every word on a spelling test!). Dear Katelin, I knew it was a long shot that you might live in the area, but I thought I'd let you know just in case. Hope middle school is going well.
Hunter, I do have lots of tips, activities, podcasts, and a video for young writers on my writing page and at the very bottom is a list of places you might like to try get your stories published. My most important tip for any writer (and myself included) is to write, write, and write some more! Second is read, read, and read more!
