Battle of the Best FriendsDear Juniper, Now I'm curious which Mermaid Tales book you were reading. Was it Battle of the Best Friends, which is about a birthday party? Isn't May a great time for a birthday? I will be having a big milestone birthday this year! Have a great day, Debbie

Dear Kaylo, The next time I have scheduled right now Mermaids Don't Run Trackto be near western Tennessee is in April. I will be in south-western Kentucky at the Southern Kentucky Book Festival. It is a great event and hope you can make it. There will be tons of authors there!
Ashlyn, I'm so glad you enjoyed Mermaids Don't Run Track and Cupids Don't Flip Hamburgers. I really liked the anti-love potion! If you want more mermaid fun, you might like my Mermaid Tales series. Suzy, I'm glad Marko is okay! Congratulations on finishing your story. Have a great week, Debbie

Dear Suzy, I do have my Christmas tree up. It is 12 foot tall! Your story is exciting. I hope everyone is all right! For your report, I suggest you look at my book report page for lots of helpful information.
Good luck!

Dear Mary, a forum is a place for a discussion. So I guess this is a type of forum about books. Drake, I did play the Oregon Trail when I was a kid. I usually died of disease!
Genies Don't Ride Bicycles     Heather, in Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots we (Marcia and myself) believe that Mrs. Jeepers turned into a vampire monster in the hall. What do you think? To 'no name' person, I understand your mom's concern and I'm glad you like the Mermaid Tales. Renee, even if you are not a fairy you can be kind and helpful. In fact, I am writing a story something like that! Of course, my newest book is about a mergirl who wants to catch a fairy.
Francine, you have been busy. I enjoyed your fan fiction of Pirates Don't Wear Pink Sunglasses, Genies Don't Ride Bicycles, Martians Don't Take Temperatures, and Aliens Don't Wear Braces. Guess what? In fourth grade I had a fabulous teacher named Mrs. Forker. Have a super awesome, fintastic week-Debbie

Dear Drake, It was very cool to visit your school. Actually I have a story that I've been working on (off and on) for a Frankenstein Doesn't Plant Petuniasfew years about a wagon train! Perhaps you'd like to check out my writing page for ideas for your story. Good luck!
Thanks Suzy. Riley, I used to live in California! I'm so glad you like Mermaid Tales. Do you have a favorite? Merry Christmas to you! Francine, the Bailey School Kids books were named after my grandmother, Lilly Bailey. Inappropriate post will be deleted. Very rarely the computer will be blocked. In extreme cases the post can be traced. I enjoyed your story that was similar to  Frankenstein Doesn't Plant Petunias. Best, Debbie
