Dear Nydia, I was away from my computer for a few days to travel to my brother's birthday celebration. I'm so glad you like my books! Mirabel, I'm so glad you enjoyed the Crook and the Crown. Next year, there will be another Mermaid Tales mystery called The Narwhal Mystery.
     Hi Addie, I get ideas from everywhere-even the newspaper. The idea for my book that comes out in a few weeks, Fairy Chase, came from making a fairy garden in my yard! I have even gotten ideas from the newspaper. My family and friends have given me suggestions. In fact, my oldest son and I wrote two books together, Slime Wars and Slime Time.
     Addison, it is hard for me to pick one Mermaid Tales character as my favorite because each one is a bit like me in so many ways! Echo is like me because she likes dancing and cheering. Also, I wasn't a good speller in school!
     Penny, I'm glad you like the second MerStyle magazine. The outfit is actually from my upcoming book, Fairy Chase. It is available now for order-maybe your school librarian will get it for next year if you suggest it. Aleah, I'm so glad you like my books. Do you have a favorite? Dear Penny, I'm so glad you enjoyed the first MerStyle magazine. They actually talk about a MerStyles special edition in Ready, Set, Goal! I hope to have another edition ready by Friday.
