Dear Gabi, it was fun to visit your school. The book reports you did with the bar codes were cool. I'm glad you like Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots. What did your class think about Gremlins Don' t Chew Bubble Gum? I think your teacher should have let everyone chew gum when she was reading it ! It would be fun to write another Bailey School Kids book. I have gotten ideas from everywhere-even the newspaper! Did you know I will be back in Henderson on the first Saturday in October at the Henderson Library? Have a blessed week, Debbie

Dear Tiffany, I wish you good luck on your state testing. Just try to relax and do the best you can. I hope your librarian will get more Mermaid Tales for you since you've read all the others. Maybe you can ask her to order more (did you know that there are 13 with another coming out soon?)

Dear Zoe, I do remember coming to your school. It was fun! I think the spider part of Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp is in the middle. Did you know that Shelly is in all the Mermaid Tales, but in some she is the main character? Of the ones that she is the main character, I think A Royal Tea is my favorite, but I really like all of them-especially The Crook and The Crown, the newest one.
Lillie, reading is my favorite thing to do with writing as second! Samantha, Marcia and I both played the guitar and we still play the piano so I think that was our inspiration for Dracula Doesn't Rock and Roll. Hope you have an awesome weekend. I'll be at the Southern Kentucky Bookfair today. If you live close by I hope you'll come to see me. Best, Debbie
