Dear Maya, Wow, it sounds like your family had a wonderful Father's Day. What nice presents! We went fishing and I gave my husband a tool chest, which he wanted. My newest book is The Polar Bear Express. I hope you'll like it. Have a terrific Tuesday and God bless, Debbie

Hi Aiyana, I think it is natural to miss your old home (like Calliope), even if you like your new one. Don't worry about the Ghostville Elementary ghosts. I promise they are fine!
Lillian, I like dolphins too. In The Lost Princess, Shelly dreams of riding a dolphin. Wouldn't that be something? Heyvar, I like mermaids too. In fact, I even made an I Love Mermaid Tales button. If you order a Mermaid Tales T-shirt (with your parents, of course, I will send you a free button).
Lauren, there are 51 numbered Bailey School Kids books, but there are also Holiday and Super Specials. Have a great week and God bless, Debbie

Hi Lauren the Blue Kiwi, I think the story of Achilles is very interesting. Guess what? I just saw the cover for the Mermaid Tales book that comes out in December. I like it! Do you?
Have a great Sunday. I'm signing off to wish my husband a happy Father's Day and go to church, Debbie

Dear Lauren the Blue Kiwi, I'm going to go with Poseidon, since the Greeks thought he was the god of the sea and horses (and I like both of those!) Of course, the book Hercules Doesn't Pull Teeth is based on a Greek hero.
Hi Alysha, you are right! Maya, I am so happy you like the Mermaid Tales series. You sound like you live a very interesting life. Did you know that I am part Cherokee?
Kylie, thanks for your kind words. Adrianna, where did you see a mermaid? Have a great weekend and I hope you'll share with me what you're reading this summer, Debbie

Hi Kylie and Sam, I really liked your fun ideas! Isobel, so glad you enjoy my stories. Here's a free one that you can do as a play.
Noni, how exciting to get a horse for your birthday! I've always thought it would be cool to have a horse. Have fun in Peru. Lauren the Blue Kiwi, I do know a bit about Greek Mythology. In fact, several of the Bailey School Kids are based on myths. Can you guess which ones?
Aiyana, I can tell you would make a very good friend. I agree that it would be hard to be cooped up for a long time and that is part of the reason why the ghosts get a little wild sometimes. I also think they are a bit jealous that someone else is using what they think is their classroom. When I was growing up there was a beautiful old home in my town that was torn down to make a parking lot. I thought it was such a shame. That's how I feel about the Blackburn Mansion, but Andrew's parents didn't agree. This summer you might like to try writing your own stories with some of the characters from Ghostville Elementary. Have fun! Best, Debbie
