Dear Avery and Grayson, I am so glad you enjoyed the Inside the MagicKeyholder series.  Your grandmother sounds like such a nice lady!  Right now, we have no plans for another book, but we had once hoped to write about rescuing Dracula's sisters.  Who knows, maybe we will!
Tiffany, yes I am writing more Mermaid Tales.  The next one comes out in a few weeks!  It is called Wish Upon A Starfish.  In that story, Pearl wants to be the star of the school play.  Do you think she will be? Since your favorite is  The Lost Princess, you might like to know that on Dec. 15th there will be a new book about Shelly where she takes her friends to visit the royal castle! It is called the Crook and the Crown and there is a mystery.  I have written other books, you might enjoy Mermaids Don't Run Track, co-authored with Marcia Jones.  Have a wonderful Tuesday, Debbie

Vampires don't Wear Polka DotsDear Helen, Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots is about Melody, Howie, Liza, and Eddie getting a new teacher.  But she isn't an ordinary teacher! In fact, Howie thinks she just might be a vampire!  I like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory too.  Thanks for the great ideas about Pearl.  She is quite a character, isn't she?  I think she is learning to be nicer, bit by bit.  The next book about her comes out next month, Wish Upon A Starfish.  I hope you'll like it.
Tiffany, I'm so glad you enjoy the Mermaid Tales books.  Do you have a favorite?  Aiyana, Andrews family just inherited a lot of money, so that is why they can afford the Blackburn Estate, which cost a lot!  I think Andrew learns to be a little nicer!  It is interesting in books (and life) that there are nice people and sometimes not so nice people.  I hope I am a nice person!  Have a wonderful week and hope you have a great start to your school year!  God bless, Debbie

Hi Helen, I am so happy that you like the Mermaid Tales series.  Do you have a favorite one?  What do you think I should write about next?  I hope you have fun writing your own stories.  You might even want to visit my writing page for some idea.
Aiyana, the reason the kids need Andrew to take them to the Blackburn Estate in Class Trip to the Haunted House is because it is his new home.  You can't just go into someone's home without permission.  Andrew invited everyone to come just to prove that he owns the biggest house around (he likes to brag!)  Hope you have a great day too!  Best,  Debbie

Class Trip to the Haunted HouseAiyana, thanks for the title idea for the Bailey School Kids series.  It would be fun to write a new one.  Yes, Calliope is upset that they want to tear down her home.  Nina was pretty brave to go inside, wasn't she?  I'm not sure I would.  Did you read Class Trip to the Haunted House as a book or ebook?
Helen, thanks for your comment about feeling like you're there when are reading the Mermaid Tales books.  You made my day!  You might like to check out these mermaid writing activities.  Have a great week and God bless, Debbie
