Hi Ashley, my first book was Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots. Alexa, I'm so glad you like Bigfoot Doesn't Square Dance. Did you know my picture is on page 8? The illustrator made Ranger Lily look like me.
     Eliza and Christine, I'm thrilled you like my books. It's cool that you like to write. I hope you'll check out my writing page. Caleb, when I was young I liked to read mysteries and funny stories. Sayanika, congratulations on your story. I hope you can share it with your friends. Sarra, I get ideas and inspiration from everywhere, even the newspaper!
     Cristina and Alleyna, I hope you'll ask your school librarian for my books and check them out! Alleyna, Ashley, Caitlin, and Aylana-thanks for the really funny ideas! I do like being an author. Shawn, I think I would still be a librarian if I wasn't an author.
     Ally, I will let you find out for yourself what was in the attic by reading Whistler's Hollow. Samulel, my next book is about pirate treasure, Treasure in Trident City. Emily, I'm so glad you like Mermaid Tales 1-4. Which one is the best so far? Liliana, do you have a favorite Bailey School Kids book?
     Slavik, you have a lovely school. There are three Frankenstein books in the Bailey School Kids series. In a spin-off series, Bailey City Monsters, there is a character who is in every book who is like Frankenstein. Have a great day and God bless, Debbie

Hi Dillon, I liked books about horses when I was young, mysteries, and a series called Cherry Ames, Student Nurse. Meaghan, a trip to the beach helped inspire me to write about mermaids. I'm so glad you liked Battle of the Best Friends. Echo wants to have her very own sea horse in The Secret Sea Horse. have a wonderful day, Debbie

Cendile, Jasmin, and Ruby-I am happy to tell you that there are seven Mermaid Tales books out right now. The 8th one comes out in May. The illustrator is Tatevik Avakyan. I have never met her, but I love her illustrations! She was nice enough to agree to let me make T-shirts to go with The Lost Princess.
Ruby, I think I am most like Shelly, but I do not sing as well as she does! Which merperson are you most like? I have read Matilda, the BFG, and Ella Enchanted, but I haven't read Rainbow Magic. I would love to come to your school. Maybe your teacher or librarian could invite me. A big hello to Sammantha and Colin. If you live close to Johnstown, PA.
