Dear Friends, If you live near a comic book store, ask an adult to take you tomorrow, Saturday August 14th. Some stores will be giving away a Bailey School Kids graphic novel sample for free. Hope you get one!

Dear Geetika, I am lucky to have writing friends, tennis friends, and church friends. Of course my husband is my best friend! Debbie skiing in a Ski Show Dear Geetika, I hope your first day of school was awesome! I have been to Paducah, but I'm planning to visit Memphis for the first time this year. I was born in a little town in Kentucky called Morganfield, but I mostly grew up in Henderson. It is on the Ohio River and I learned how to water ski there. Have a great week, Debbie

HI Friends, Today is the release date of a new book! It's the Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots graphic novel. Hope you'll ask your school librarian to get it (it comes in paperback, hardback, audio, and Kindle versions)! Marcia T. Jones and I wrote the story and Pearl Low adapted and illiustrated it.
