Hi Jesse, great to hear from you. Thanks for your nice letter. I have lots of favorites of the Bailey School Kids, for different reasons. One of my favorites is Skeletons Don't Play Tubas. Of course, at this time of the year I'm partial to Ninjas Don't Bake Pumpkin Pies.
I'm glad you like Frankenstein Doesn't Plant Petunias. Have you seen Frankenstein Doesn't Slam Hockey Pucks? The idea for that came from my oldest son playing hockey. Hope you have a fabulous day, Debbie

Hi Jacob, good luck with your project on Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp. The idea came from the fact that Marcia and I love nature. The purpose of the story was to have fun! I have always loved to read and I think that made me want to be a writer (hoping that someone might like to read something I wrote!). Today, my plans are to study seahorses for a book that will come out next August. You can find out more about me here.
     Shreeya, 11-11-12 is the same in the US and India! It was also my mother's birthday. I hope you have a great vacation. Are you traveling anywhere?
     Norah, I'm so glad you like Dracula in the Keyholder books. Right now, we do not have plans to write additional Keyholders.
     Maggie, do you think mermaids celebrate Christmas? I certainly do. There is a Christmas Island and also the Crhistmas Tree Worm. That might be a fun way to put Christmas into a mermaid story. What do you think? Hope you'll check out these Christmas stories. Have a great week, Debbie
