Jakobe, I love to visit schools and would love to visit yours.  But I do need to be invited by an adult.  Ask your teacher, librarian, PTO member, or principal to contact me so we can discuss it.  Tarshi, the best way is just to tell others about the best parts of the books or why you enjoyed them.  Start with your friends and see what happens.  Thanks and have a great day, Debbie  (P.S.  If you live near Fort Collins, CO, I'll be autographing at the Barnes and Nobles there on this Sat. from 2-3:00.  Hope to see you!)

Hey Elias!  Hope you are having a great Bailey School Kids Day!  I was thinking about you guys.  You rock!
Gabriella, so glad you like my books.  Do you have a favorite?  Taranjeet, I'm rewriting a book right now with my daughter.  We've been working on it for several years!  brb, Debbie

Hey Jordan and Calin, the idea for the Bailey School Kids books came from a bad day and wondering what would happen Eddieif we were actually monster teachers.  How would kids react to having a vampire for a teacher?  What would you do if you suspected your teacher was a vampire?  I have written 151 stories that have been made into books.  Jordan, you can learn more about Liza and Eddie by going to my Swamp Club page and clicking on each kid's name.
Tarshi, I have to be invited by a parent, teacher, librarian, or principal before I can come to a school.  Ask them to contact me.  Happy Friday, Debbie

Dear Tarshi, no problem.  Remember I make up stuff Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dotseveryday for my stories!  You can make it up to me by going to voteforbooks.com and voting for Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots in the box on the left.  In fact, I would love it if everyone would do that(If you like the Bailey School Kids books that is).  Thanks!  (I challenge you to write the story you suggested!)
Jordan, it's a race to see who will win.  Will you read them faster than I can write them?  Best, Debbie

Destiny, it was good to hear from you again.  I hope you are liking second grade.  I loved my second grade teacher.  (Hi, Trouble at Trident Academy, Mermaid Tales #1Miss Newcomber if you are out there anywhere!)  I'm pretty excited about my new series, Mermaid Tales, coming out in May.  In fact, I'll have a whole new page on my website about it and a new landing page.  I think the new webpage stuff will be up next week.  I think the artist did a great job on the first cover, don't you?
Chloe, Marcia and I were inspired by a bad day to write the Bailey School Kids books.  My favorite food is strawberries!  I do like pie-mostly Ogres Don't Hunt Easter Eggsall kinds.  I have three children and three dogs, but no little babies.  My husband is a very smart scientist.  He does research to save people's lives.
Tarshi and Pay, I understand how Tarshi feels.  My real name is Debra, but I am so used to Debbie that I don't much like to be called Debra.   Deb is okay, but not my favorite. Taranjeet does sound lovely though.  If you are wondering why I took off your city and school it is for your Internet safety, but please tell your teacher or librarian that I would love to visit your school.  Hope to meet you some day, Debbie
