Hi Nidhi. How wonderful that you are writing stories of your own. You might like to try sending some to Highlights Magazine for Children at 803 Church Street Honesdale, PA. 18431. They use stories, poems, jokes and riddles written by kids. They also have a feature called What are your favorite books? Since you like Ghostville Elementary and The Bailey School Kids maybe you can write about them! I hope you'll check out my writing page and let me know how your writing is going. Happy October! Halloween is only 30 days away! Time to check out some fun scary books. Josie, I'm so glad you like the Bailey School Kids books. A big hello to Amber. Allison, I'm so happy you enjoyed Reindeer Do Wear Striped Underwear. The idea for the underwear came from real life. I saw an actual reindeer wearing a striped blanket that looked like underwear! Fall leaves Amber, I'm so glad you liked Werewolves Don't Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp Go To Summer Camp. Actually Marcia and I wrote that story (and all the Bailey School Kids books) together. The original illustrator was a man named John Steven Gurney (he drew the pictures). If you have a book with one of the new covers (like you see here) it was painted by Nathan Hale. You can order that story online or ask for it at your local bookstore, if they don't have it they can order it (with your parent's permission, of course). Stay cool, Debbie
