Happy Thanksgiving Dominic, I started writing because I enjoy reading so much. In fact, I stayed up a little late to finish a book last night. I was about 27-28 when I first started writing professionally. Hannah, I drive a red convertable. It's so fun to have the top down, but it's too cold now. Ciera, enjoy your last full day of school before your break. Hope everyone has lots of fun books to read over the holiday and gets lots of goodies to eat. Believe it or not, my husband and daughter practically fight over the green bean casserole! Best, Debbie

      Hi Karmyn, I like to do lots of things like write, read, play Happy Thanksgiving tennis, take my dogs for walks, and go places with my children and husband. I really enjoy celebrating holidays with my family. It's fun putting up decorations.
     Ciera, you'll need to ask your librarian when your book order will come in, but I bet it will be there when you get back from Thanksgiving break. Do you have the week off like my kids do?

Happy leaves Hi Kwali, I'm glad you think my books are funny. I do enjoy reading funny books myself. My favorite funny book that I wrote is Ghouls Don't Scoop Ice Cream. I think you could get the books quicker at the library or bookstore than I could send them. Ciera, I was definitely scared to sky-dive, but it did help me to write my story better. I think a soccer and dance book would be fun. Hannah, I'm excited to be writing a new book. My favorite part is to actually write a new story. Rewriting it and making it better is a lot harder for me. Have a great Thanksgiving, Debbie

Jenna, my oldest dog is named Bailey. She is 14. Skip is 10. Shadow is four. One of my favorite books is The Worst Name in Third Grade.
