      Thanks to everyone at Bedford Elementary School for making me feel so welcome. Quentan, I hope you like your new books. Madison, I'm fine. How are you? Cali, it takes different amounts of time to write different books. The longest it has taken me was eight years!
     Matthew, your ninja idea was great. Have you seen Ninjas Don't Bake Pumpkin Pie? Ilen, maybe you could ask your librarian to get that one for Thanksgiving. Cameron, what do you think I should write about? Emma, I'm glad you like the Bailey School Kids books. I bet you'd be a great author! Dayann, I'm so glad you think my books are funny. I really like funny stories!
     Damien, I'm glad to hear you wouldn't make a mess like the one in Goblins Don't Play Video Games.   Jamera and Carley, I do think the goblin did it-don't you? Desmond and Daylon, I do think the computer teacher is the Master Goblin-what do you think?
     Jade, we got the name for the Ghostville Elementary series by simply brainstorming. We wrote down every ghosty name we could think of and the one we liked best was Ghostville Elementary. Madison, I'm glad you like Mermaids Don't Run Track. I think mermaids are very interesting. Do you think they are real? Philip, I like your idea. Have you seen my Swamp Monster in Third Grade series?

      Damion, you have great ideas. I think you can be a writer if you want to be, but like with anything worthwhile it will take some work. Today I will be working on creating a new world for a story that won't come out until 2012! Guess what? Marcia and I did make a book with a Mrs. Jeepers look-alike. It was Mrs. Jeepers Batty Vacation.
     Ilen, your idea was really fun too. I like stories about King Arthur. (My grandfather's name was Arthur!) If you do too, you might enjoy Wizards Don't Need Computers and Knights Don't Teach Piano.

Mackenzie, I'm so glad you like my books. Do you have a favorite? Howdy to Lexa and the kids in Mrs. Back's classroom in Downington. Thanks for the cute card! Congratulations to the Giants for winning the Super Bowl, even if it wasn't the Phillies. Remind your parents to vote. Did you get out of school early today because of the election?
