What good investigators Nikkia, Brennon, Syrus, and Louis will make.  They noticed that Miss Kidwell didn't have a bell charm in Gremlins Don't Chew Bubble Gum.  It was because the bell and the clock were tied together.  The bell rang at a certain time.

Go Jacqui Go!  Good luck with your reading.  Jenna, I've written 147 books.  Mat, I do like to write because anything can happen in a story.  Good luck with your writing Alexis.  You might like to try out the new writing section of my website.  Amy, my creatures are made-up, but if I ever meet any real vampires or werewolves I'll let you know!  Evan, I've had many different editors.  I like to read, I think that made me want to write.

Tiffany and Hannah, go to the Swamp Club for stuff about me for your report.  You can also find out about me in the About Me section under EVENTS.  Zoe, of course I've had problems in my life.  Who hasn't?  Because I believe in God, I pray for help and guidance.  That has gotten me through my toughest times and frankly through every day.

Laura, the story I working on  with my daughter was originally called Ball Hog.  We are rewriting it and will probably change the name.  Brandon, yes I do think Mr. Jeepers is pretty and it would be cool if they made a move.  They are making a professional play of it.

Sam, I do love to write.  Good luck to Lauren and Anna with their writing.  I hope to continue writing for a long time.  I've written about 147 books, Nicholas.  One of my favorites that I did not write is Where the Red Fern Grows, Melissa.  My favorite part of writing, Devon, is that you can make anything happen.  Yes, Haley, sometimes it can be hard-but sometimes it can be easy to it evens out!  Elizabeth, inspiration for writing can some from anywhere, even the newspaper.

Colin, Shane, Jay, and Ta-my favorite chapter is Super Eddie in Ghouls Don't Scoop Ice Cream.  That book took about a month to write.  Thanks for the votes for the covers on my home page.  So far, the old cover is winning!

Brenton, your ending was cool.  I have your letter on my desk, but I'll answer you here.  I'm sorry to say that I won't be able to write with you.  My daughter and I are writing a story, plus I have my new series to write with Marcia as well.  I don't think it would work out, but I hope you'll still keep writing.

Elizabeth, Keyholders won't be in stores until next April.  Thanks to Taylor, Leonardo, Kerry, Madeline, and Julia for your cool names for the Magical Kingdom.  Elise, I haven't heard from my editor yet.  I hope one of them will be chosen.  Cara, you can give me your choice in the Kid's Talk section.  Taylor, it's fun to write about scary creatures.  Jacquie, I hope you'll read one of my books.  Matthew, there's  a list of my books in the book section.

A big wet sloppy thanks and hello to Marissa, Maddie, Ethaan, Caroline, Dana, Josh, Gerard, Adam, Joey, Brytan, Josh, Matthew, Fred,  Hannah, Tiffany, Jessica, Jake, Georgia, Eddie (now, that's a name that makes me smile!), Caroline, Isabella, Jackson, Andrew, Ethan, Joel, Tommi, James, Kelly, Sue, Simone, Lyndsey, Amanda, Madeline, Brynn, Michael, Natalie, Madeline, and Samantha.

Robert, I do like visiting schools.  Katie, Evana, and Makayla, your teacher or a parent can email me on the events page about a school visit.  Yes, Maykayla, I do like country music!  Howdy to 4c and Nancy at Warwick.  See you soon, Debbie

Hey Emily, you guys at West are totally cool.  Thanks for all the suggestions for a name for the magic land in the new Keyholders series from Elise, Emily, Lily, Sam, Danny, William, and Oscar.  I hope my editor will like one.

Ashley, Skeletons Don't Play Tubas and The Worst Name in Third Grade are definitely two of my favorites.  A big Philly hello to Destiny, Kasey, Aiman, Matiana, and Elizabeth.  You guys sound like awesome readers!  Meredith, it's fun to pretend in stories.  I guess that's why writing about wizards is fun.

Nicole, I've written about 147 books; you can actually get many of them at your local library or bookstore or even through my website in the book section (with your parents, of course).  Also, many schools do bookclubs and book fairs and they are often in those.

Jenny, you can check out the book report section of the Swamp Club for when I was born.  My favorite author is definitely my handsome son, Nathan Dadey.  We wrote Slime Wars and Slime Time together.  He is getting ready to graduate from college.  Congratulations Nathan!  brb, Debbie (that's Mom for Nathan!)

Pirates are coming!  Pirates are coming!  Check out your June Lucky bookclub order for PIrates Do Ride Scooters.  The May Seesaw will have a set of the Bailey School Kids Junior Chapters books for you to try.

I went to visit a fun school yesterday here in PA.  Ashley and NIck, thanks for making me feel welcome.  Suzanne, I do plan on writing more.  I working on one today!  Anna, I was 29 when my first book came out and you never know-Anna is a good name for a book.

Allison, you must write me here for me to respond.  The events page is only for adults.  I was born in Morganfield, KY and you can check out my book page for awards.  Rey A., my favorite food is strawberries and sometimes dark chocolate makes me sick!

A big warm weather hello to Tarissa, Diana, Logan, Molly, Alasica, Brendan, Hanna, and Dakota.  Elizabeth, you might like to try the Bailey School Kids Junior books.  They are very similar to the Bailey School Kids books, but they have more pictures and less words.

Zoe, I grew up in Henderson, KY and rode my bike almost everyday during the summer.  We'd also play baseball alot, most of the time in Dougie Brown's backyards or we'd swing in my backyard with someone doing stand-up comedy (usually Dougie) in front of the swing.  He was so funny!  I went to college and got my masters in Library Science.

Carolynne, you can also order my books off my website or get them at a local bookstore.  Damani, The Swamp Monster in Third Grade Trapped in the Principal's Office is one of my favorites.  Leila, blue is my favorite color.  Juan, I do love to read.  Morena and Juan, writing is awesome because anything can happen when you write. You can create whole new worlds like in my upcoming Keyholders series.  I've written around 147 books, Leslie and Marco.   Natali, I write at home in my office and I do enjoy writing short books. Mateo, I don't really think I write terror books.  Do you?  Pedro, my first book came out in 1990.  Rachel, the idea for Angels Don't Know Karate came from the karate lessons I took with my son.  Marybeth and Emily, check out Bridgett's blog and website for more information about her.

Clarat and Camila, my three dogs are Bailey, Shadow, and Skip.  Skip just had a haircut and he looks bald!

ttyl and watch out for pirates, Debbie  (P.S. See some of you in Illinois next week.  Hurrah for my Hillary's win in PA!)
