Dear Kazhe, It was nice to hear from you. I like reading real 'paper' books the best, but I've been reading a lot of ebooks lately due to the virus. The Mermaid Tales books are available as ebooks.
Suzy, the virus will continue to spread if people don't stay home. We need to stay home to stay safe. Take this time to draw a picture, write a story, write a song, or play a game. We will get through this. I will pray for your continued safety. God bless, Debbie

Dear Leyna and Amanda, Thanks so much for the book love. And speaking of love, I will be reading from Cupid Doesn't Cook Hamburgers next Friday at 2:00 on my YouTube Channel and tomorrow I'll read my most embarrassing story! Hope you'll join me. As per Raquel's request, I will read from my upcoming book, The Winter Princess on April 17th at 2:00.
Rosie S., I think Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots, Werewolves Don't Go to Summer Camp, and Ghosts Don't Eat Potato Chips are about tied for the most popular Bailey School Kids book. Do you have a favorite? Good luck DJ! Stay safe and stay at home, Debbie

Dear Amanda, Thanks for your nice words. Please tell your friends I said hello! Your question from the other day made me think of a book that I wrote with my good friend, Marcia Thornton Jones, called Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp. Stay awesome and safe, Debbie

Dear Harmony, I am working on a new story and having a lot of fun with it. I do have a new book coming out this summer called The Winter Princess. Is Isn't that a crazy time for a book about winter? Anyway, I really love the illustrations (by a lady named Tatevik Avakyan) and the story- hope you will too. It is the next book in the Mermaid Tales series. Stay safe and well at home, Debbie

Dear Suzy, A sequel to Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots (to let the parents know what happened) is an interesting idea! I'm glad you saw my Facebook author page video where I read the originial ending. Raquel, I hope your online schooling is going well. Did you know I have a teachers' page that might be helpful? Amanda, there has been some misinformation about the virus online. I hope you will get to go camping another time. Madelyn, thanks
for thinking of me. I am safe and well. Hope you are too!
Rosie S., I probaby won't add to Bridgett's blog, It goes with the book, The Worse Name in Third Grade.
DJ, Someone may have a boyfriend or girlfriend someday in the Mermaid Tales series-you never know! Have a great day and stay well, Debbie
