Noelle and Sriyaa, I get ideas from everywhere!  Sometimes even from kids who write me.  Christina, I am rooting for you means that I am on your side or pulling for you.  Guess what? I saw Katie Perry in concert at a Jingle Bell Ball a few years ago with my daughter.  She was dressed in a funny Christmas tree costume and sang really well.  Have a great week before Halloween.  Do you know what you costume you are wearing?  I do, Debbie

Xavier, I do think Mr. Jenkins is a werewolf.  Do you?  Robert, I do think it would be cool to have the Bailey School Leprechaun bookKids on Nick.  Jessica, I'm doing okay (except I just got a nasty cold sore-I hate them!).  Thanks for asking.  How are you?
Daisy, I have three great kids:  Nathan, Becky, and Alex.  Amanda, I hope you are enjoying Leprechauns Don't Play Basketball-the part I like best is the Honey-Bee Waltz!  Being from Kentucky, I love basketball.  Rebecca, did you know that Skeletons Don't Play Basketball is one of my favorites?  Hope you have a great week!  ttyl, Debbie

Hey Frances, did you like the Draw Along with Mrs. Zork pages?  Have you tried drawing a mummy or a vampire on your own?  I guess drawing the bat is drawing a vampire-in a way.  Draw on, Debbie

Dear Abby, Marcia Jones and I both like hiking and camping so Werewolves bookwe thought it would be fun to have Eddie, Melody, Howie, and Liza go to a summer camp.  That's how the idea for Werewolves Don't Go To Summer Camp came about.  My new series is about mermaids and merboys!  Christina, I don't live that far away from New York.  My convertable is red!  ttyl, Debbie

Hi Alaina, my next book will come out in May.  In fact, two books:  Trouble at Trident Academy and Battle of the Best Friends will both come out then.  They are about Merkids and Santa Claus bookI'm very excited about them.  My very first book came out in 1990.  Paloma, I'm glad you enjoy my stories.  Do you have a favorite?
Morgan, Santa Claus Doesn't Mop Floors was one of the easiest Bailey School Kids books to write.  My first book was Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots.  My favorite author is my son, Nathan Dadey.  We wrote Slime Wars and Slime Time together.  Monsters are definitely fun to write about-don't you think?  Christina, the names of your goldfish made me think of Dr. Seuss' Thing One and Thing Two.  Laughing  A convertable is a car that has a top that comes off.  It's fun to drive when it's sunny out.  Hope you guys have a great week and a great life.  I am rooting for you, Debbie
